Vlad Doronin

Vlad Doronin is an accomplished international investor and real estate developer of luxury residential, commercial and hospitality properties. With over 30 years of experience and a peerless track record in constructing 80 million square feet of world-class multipurpose space over a total of 84 buildings, Mr Doronin works with the very best architects and designers in the world.

OKO Group, the US-based real estate development company he founded in 2015, is, under his leadership, developing an expanding portfolio of residential and commercial properties in the United States and internationally. Key projects include 830 Brickell, a Class A+ office tower in Miami’s Brickell Financial District and luxury residential projects including Missoni Baia, Edgewater, Miami, the first luxury residential project by Italian fashion house Missoni, and Una Residences, a 47-story luxury waterfront tower in Miami’s Brickell neighbourhood.

As owner, Chairman and CEO of Aman, a distinguished collection of 35 resorts, hotels, and private residences, Mr. Doronin has placed emphasis on Aman’s financial health and operational efficiency, driving the brand’s value to $3 billion in 2022. Reinforcing his firm commitment to the brand with real estate investments in 18 Aman properties, Mr Doronin’s strategy and continued commitment to open in cities and expand resorts, saw the successful launch of Aman Tokyo in 2014, followed by Aman New York, its flagship urban hotel, residences and club in the heart of Manhattan within the city’s iconic Crown Building in 2022. In addition, there is an extensive pipeline of future Aman projects, including Aman Nai Lert Bangkok (2025); Aman Rosa Alpina (2025) in the Dolomites, Italy; Amanvari (2025), the first Aman destination in Mexico; a further two properties in the US including Aman Miami Beach, and Aman Beverly Hills in Los Angeles; Aman Niseko in Japan; Aman AlUla and Amansamar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Aman Dubai in the UAE, and Aman Maldives.

Vlad Doronin has also had the vision and pioneering spirit to launch Janu, Aman’s sibling brand, which is focused on driving meaningful connection, adding value to Aman Group by reaching new markets and guest demographics. Janu Tokyo successfully launched to critical acclaim in 2024, with additional hotels currently under construction in Montenegro, AlUla and Diriyah in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, South Korea, Maldives, Thailand, Turks & Caicos Islands, Turkey and more.
